In fact, as you drink more tea, your health will improve. The most potent healthy elements in tea are polyphenols, which have powerful antioxidant properties. There are a multitude of reasons why you should drink tea every morning. People all over the world enjoy teas of all kinds. Here are some tips that will help you make the most of the experience of a cup of tea in the morning and avoid any possible unpleasant effects of drinking tea.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Do not drink morning tea on an empty stomach. Tea causes suppression of gastric juice secretions and can affect stomach acid and bile. It will also affect the absorption of protein and other nutrients. It will stimulate the gastric mucosa, leading to loss of appetite.<\/li>\n<li>Don't drink tea too hot. It can lead to irritation or inflammation of the throat, oesophagus and stomach lining. If you often drink very hot morning tea, it can cause permanent scarring in these areas.<\/li>\n<li>Opt for a light morning tea. Tea that is too strong contains too much caffeine, which can cause headaches or insomnia, stomach problems or inflammation. So don't add too many tea leaves and don't let it steep too long.<\/li>\n<li>Keep it infused as little as possible. If it steeps too long, regardless of the water temperature, it will become cloudy and the flavour will be bitter. You will also destroy all the nutrients in the tea leaves (vitamins, anti-oxidants, amino acids).<\/li>\n<li>Avoid infusing the same tea leaves too many times. Most teas can be brewed three or four times before they lose their flavour, and others once or twice. The exceptions are Pu-erh and Oolong teas, which can be brewed up to 5-6 times.<\/li>\n<li>Don't drink a lot of tea before breakfast.
